Citation Integrity™ Score
Measures the underlying conditions.
It identifies weaknesses across CiteAbility™'s Citation Integrity™ Dimensions and gives your organisation prioritised actions to improve them.
CiteAbility™ Outcomes
Your website can be accurate, authoritative and well structured — but what happens when someone asks an AI system about your company, products, services or expertise?
CiteAbility™ Outcomes measures the observable results.
See whether your company appears. Understand how it is described. Discover which sources each AI system relies on. Track citations, recommendations and changes over time.
See what Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok actually say, cite and recommend about your business.

Current scope
Outcomes is currently a Beta covering Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok. Each is observed through the provider's API with web search switched on, which can differ from what its consumer app shows. It records observed answers, mentions, citations, recommendations and source use for the questions you choose. It does not imply coverage of other AI systems or prove that a website change caused an outcome.
Outcomes observes these five systems. The Citation Integrity™ work is done on your own information, so it is not specific to any one AI system.
Where connected access data is available, CiteAbility™ distinguishes whether an AI or search crawler is allowed to access the website from whether there is evidence that it actually visited. Permission does not prove a visit, and a visit does not prove citation or recommendation.
Customer behaviour
People increasingly use AI systems to research businesses, compare providers, understand products and make decisions.
“Who are the best companies for this?”
“What does this company do?”
“Is this business credible?”
“Which provider should I consider?”
“How does Company A compare with Company B?”
The important question is no longer simply whether your website can be found.
What answer does AI give?
CiteAbility™ Outcomes gives your organisation a structured view of those answers.
Two roles
CiteAbility™ is built around a simple principle:
Before you measure whether AI mentions a company, you should understand the quality of the information AI has available to rely on.
That is why CiteAbility™ separates underlying Citation Integrity™ from observable AI outcomes.
Measures the underlying conditions.
It identifies weaknesses across CiteAbility™'s Citation Integrity™ Dimensions and gives your organisation prioritised actions to improve them.
Measures what happens in AI answers.
It evaluates how Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok respond to relevant questions about your company, competitors, products, services and areas of expertise.
What AI has to work with and what AI actually does with it.
Capabilities
CiteAbility™ Outcomes turns individual AI responses into information your team can actually understand.
Instead of manually opening different AI platforms and repeatedly asking questions, your Outcomes dashboard gives you a structured view of your AI presence.
Understand whether your organisation appears in relevant AI answers and in which contexts.
See when your organisation or web properties are cited as supporting sources.
Identify which pages, publications and external sources AI systems appear to rely upon when discussing your business.
See when your organisation is included among businesses, products or services presented for consideration.
See whether outcomes are changing as your Citation Integrity™ improves and the information environment around your organisation evolves.
Dashboard
One dashboard gives you a clear picture of how five AI systems are responding to questions that matter to your business.
Instead of overwhelming you with raw prompts and responses, CiteAbility™ organises the results into understandable business intelligence.
Illustrative dashboard
Layout illustration only — no client data, and no example measurements.

Beyond mentions
A company being mentioned by an AI system does not necessarily mean the underlying answer is dependable.
And a company not being mentioned does not automatically mean something is wrong with its website.
That distinction matters.
Many AI visibility tools stop at:
“You appeared 37 times.”
CiteAbility™ goes further.
Outcomes can be used alongside your Citation Integrity™ Score to help distinguish between the observable result and the underlying information conditions that may contribute to that result.
Instead of simply seeing
“Your competitor appears more often.”
Investigate
That makes Outcomes considerably more useful than a simple AI mention counter.
Question sets
Generic prompts produce generic data.
CiteAbility™ Outcomes is built around questions relevant to your company, market and customers.
Questions where a potential customer is looking for companies capable of solving a particular problem.
Questions specifically about your company, history, products, services or capabilities.
Questions about the market or category in which your company operates.
Questions comparing your company with competitors or alternative solutions.
Questions asking AI systems which companies, providers or products should be considered.
Questions where supporting sources, facts or evidence are particularly important.
The result is a measurement environment built around your company, not an arbitrary collection of keywords.
Sources
Being mentioned is only part of the picture.
CiteAbility™ Outcomes helps identify the source environment surrounding answers about your organisation.
The answer environment around your organisation is assembled from many sources — not only your own.
This gives your team a clearer picture of the information ecosystem AI systems encounter when evaluating your company.
Whether the information representing your company is actually coming from the sources you would expect.
Planned
Choosing a set of competitors and comparing results across the same questions is planned and is not live yet. Today, Outcomes shows the sources each AI system used in its answers to your questions, including other organisations' websites where they were used, and whether your own website was among them.
Also planned and not live yet:
Measurement cycle
Your CiteAbility™ Citation Integrity™ Score identifies underlying areas that can be improved.
You make those improvements.
Then what?
Measure again.

Outcomes provides the observable side of the improvement cycle.
This allows your organisation to see whether changes in its information environment are accompanied by changes in AI-generated answers.
Not assumptions.
Not anecdotes.
Measured outcomes.

Decisions
A higher mention count looks impressive on a chart.
But businesses need more than charts.
CiteAbility™ Outcomes is designed to help answer practical questions:
Those are questions a leadership, marketing, communications or AI strategy team can act on.
Scope
Outcomes is included in your plan and is built around one company and its primary web presence.
That keeps the measurement environment focused.
Additional companies you own or control can be added to Starter or Growth, each with its own workspace.
Responsible claims
No organisation controls how independent AI systems generate their answers.
Neither does CiteAbility™.
CiteAbility™ Outcomes therefore does not promise rankings, citations, recommendations or inclusion within an AI-generated answer.
What we provide is something more defensible:
Systematic measurement of observable outcomes.
We help you understand what is happening, identify material changes and connect those observations with the wider Citation Integrity™ environment surrounding your organisation.
Next step
AI systems are becoming another layer between your organisation and the people trying to understand it.
You should be able to see that layer.
CiteAbility™ Outcomes gives you the evidence.
See your AI outcomes.
Outcomes is included in Starter, Growth and Enterprise.
CiteAbility™ is currently in prelaunch. This opens an enquiry or launch-notification form; it does not start checkout, and no payment will be taken.
