Citation Integrity Certified™ is a CiteAbility™ programme that recognises organisations whose published information meets the CiteAbility Citation Integrity criteria at the time of assessment. Certification is based on an independent, structured review of evidence and is not a guarantee of future performance, ranking or citation by any third party.
Certification is available to organisations that hold an active CiteAbility account and have purchased or been granted access to the Citation Integrity Certified™ product. CiteAbility reserves the right to refuse or revoke certification where an applicant provides false or misleading information, or where required assessment criteria cannot be satisfied.
Each certification assessment is conducted against the then-current Citation Integrity criteria. Certifications are issued with a fixed validity period, typically 90 days, and may be subject to scheduled rechecks. A certification is valid only while the underlying account remains in good standing and the certified pages continue to meet the criteria.
Certified organisations may display the Citation Integrity Certified™ badge only in connection with the specific pages, products or services covered by the active certification. The badge may not be altered, resized in a way that distorts the mark, or used in a manner that suggests endorsement beyond the scope of the certification.
CiteAbility may suspend or revoke a certification if the certified organisation no longer meets the criteria, misuses the certification mark, fails to pay required fees, or breaches these terms. Upon revocation, all use of the certification mark must cease immediately and any public badge must be removed.
Certification does not guarantee that any third-party AI system will cite, recommend, rank or rely upon the certified information. To the extent permitted by law, CiteAbility’s liability is limited to the fees paid for the certification service in question.
We may update these Certification Terms from time to time. Continued participation in the programme after changes means you accept the updated terms.
