The badge cannot be bought at any price
Citation Integrity™ Certified is earned by meeting the requirements. It is included with paid plans, and it is withdrawn if the requirements stop being met. A subscription does not guarantee it.
An organisation can:

Citation Integrity™ Certified is included with every paid plan. It is earned by passing the certification checks at a full assessment, and it cannot be bought at any price.
Work through your fixes in Fix It, then reassess your Score. When the certification checks pass at a full assessment, the badge and its public verification link are issued automatically. It is then re-verified automatically — there is no renewal and no fee. Free-plan organisations can earn it after moving to Starter or above.

Certification does not guarantee citation, recommendation, ranking, visibility or inclusion by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI systems or any other third-party AI platform.
Scope
Certification is company-specific
Certification applies only to the organisation that was assessed. If you own three companies and one is certified, the other two are not certified — each must earn its own badge.
The same applies to agency-managed client companies: each independent client company must earn the badge on its own. An Agency subscription does not confer certification on clients.

Certification has little value if commercial relationships determine the result. That is why the badge is never sold: no payment, plan or relationship can buy it.

Certification means that CiteAbility™ has assessed the organisation against the applicable Citation Integrity™ certification requirements and determined that those requirements were satisfied at the relevant assessment point.
